Our cast bid for named sets, not generic shifts — does this fit?
Yes. Chronomancer's core model is named work: a specific set or room with its own fixed capacity, not a generic headcount. Performers bid for the exact sets they want to play each night.
Can we open different sets depending on how big the night is?
Yes. Each set carries a priority rank, so a quieter weeknight opens only your top-priority sets while a peak Saturday opens everything.
Do performers need to install an app?
No. Every performer gets a unique signed link by SMS or email for the period — they bid, view their roster and self-withdraw from that link. No app, no password.
What happens when someone no-shows or drops out mid-season?
A vacated set opens a claim offer and blasts a one-time link to your ranked standby pool. First valid claim wins the seat automatically, and everyone involved is re-notified.
Can we require a skill before someone can bid for a set?
Yes. Sets can require a specific skill or function, so only performers who hold it see and can bid for that set — unskilled allocation is blocked.
